Manager Danny Lennon has spent much of the summer looking for a new frontman following the departures of Lewis Guy, Sam Parkin and Esmael Goncalves and he missed out on Newcastle's Adam Campbell. Now it seems he has got someone to play alongside Steven Thompson in the shape of 21-year-old Cameroonian Bahoken
The striker came through the ranks at Nice and scored two goals against French champs Montpellier last season. However, he is pretty far down the pecking order at the League 1 club and they are willing to let him come to Saints until the summer to get some first team experience.
Information on what sort of player Bahoken is seems relatively limit but it appears he's relatively tall and pretty pacey. He would have played alongside Goncalves when he was at Nice so it's possible that's how the move came about.
The deal has yet to be finalised but Bahoken is expected to arrive in Scotland tomorrow to complete the move.
