Aberdeen Game Brought Forward

Setanta had pledged to screen more SPL games not involving either half of the Old Firm after signing the new contract in the summer, and it seems this game is one of the first they'll be showing. How many viewers they'll get I'm not sure, as it's also the first day of the Premiership season so Sky will probably have a live game at the same slot.
It's not great news if you're an Aberdeen fan as they'll have to get up early, however it should ensure a wee bit of extra cash for Saints. This announcement means we're guaranteed four TV games, already one more than we managed during our last SPL season.
