Quitongo has had three spells with Hamilton, and is kind of their equivalent of Barry Lavety in thatthe fans think he's great even when he's doing badly. He's had spells with Hearts, us and Kilmarnock in between his time with Accies.
Whilst at Love Street he didn't do much, partly because Tom Hendrie played him as a striker, which he isn't. The best one was trying to play him as a target man, silly enough in itself, against the giraffe that is Kevin James!
I'm delighted that Hamilton have released him. After his terrible performances at Love Street, I was worried he'd seek revenge and tear us apart down the right.
Another ex Saint could be finding himself a new club. Barry McLaughlin was released by Kilmarnock a few weeks ago and is now being linked with a move to Ayr. Robert Dunn, meanwhile, is being linked with a return to Dumbarton.
