Dow left Arbroath last night to go and run his new pub in Dundee. Ths is quite appropriate, as the only standard of football Dow would be any good at is pub football.
Arbroath's boss Steve Kirk wasn't best pleased, saying: "He should be here until the end of the season. In the day and age of administration in football I find it quite startling that people can't make the time to play football."
Dow defended himself, however, saying: "Does Steve Kirk forget that I was sacked by Motherwell two years ago because of administration? I have Arbroath everything I had - but after what happened two years ago I think that I'm perfectly entitled to do what suits me and my family. I'm very disappointed with what Steve said and we certainly exchanged a few words before I left Arbroath."
Of course we remember you got sacked by Motherwell you tube, you never shut up about it!
The situation has been made even funnier, however, with the news that Dow's attempts to help his family have been thwarted by evil Raith Rovers, who claim to have signed him! Enjoy your second successive relegation from division one Andy :-)
