Both of these players returning is good news, as Annand will give us more options up front, whilst Murray may play down the right in place of Ricky Gillies or Robert Dunn. Both players are obviously short of match fitness but should be able to take a place on the bench.
It seems the prediction that everyone, apart from David Jack, would be fit to face Brechin won't be far off. Paul McKnight is also nearing fitness, as are Gus MacPherson, Kevin Twaddle and Kirk Broadfoot. Brian McGinty is expected to be the only absentee as Kevin McGowne should also be fit enough to play.
Meanwhile, Barry Lavety has started back at college meaning he isn't at training as long as the club would like. Here's hoping he keeps fit and can score lots of goals this season, starting with some against Brechin on Saturday.
