McLean was in the last squad that lost to Belgium, making a sub appearance after being a late addition to the party. His caps so far have come in friendly matches so it's great to see he is considered good enough for the big matches.
The first game will take place on familiary territory for Kenny with Luxembourg visiting St Mirren Park next Thursday before the young Scots tackle the Austrians on the Monday. Scotland still have a chance of qualifying for the European Championships, but need to win both these games to keep their hopes alive.
