Another News Round Up

Kirk Broadfoot has decided to stay a Saint after all. The defender had looked to be on his way out after turning down a deal a few weeks ago, however he has now seen sense and will be staying put for another year. The news was announced at the club dinner last week, where the new kits were launched. They are minging!

We've another friendly lined up, against Arthurlie, whilst youngster John Baird has signed a pro contract with Saints.

Something I forgot to mention last week was that Simon Lappin's stunning goal against Clyde in March was voted the Scotsport goal of the season. Nice one Simon!

Mark Reilly hasn't yet signed but surely it's only a matter of time. It's possible that one of his former team mates could also be joining us. There are rumours that Saints have offered former Dundee United, Hibs and St. Johnstone player Mixu Paatelainen is on his way to Love Street. We need a physical striker and he certainly fits the bill, so would be a good signing.
