Baird Loaned to Stenny

Baird hasn't made a first team appearance for Saints since August last year, and it was unlikely that he'd get to play much this season. Whilst he is under 21, he turns 22 in a few weeks and so would not have benefited from the SPL's under 21 rule.

Baird now joins Stenny until January, and it's possible the deal could be xtended if he does well. Last season, David McKenna joined Cowenbeath on loan in mid January and managed to score elven goals before the end of the season, helping the Blue Brazil to the third division title in the process. The same for Bairdy will do just nicely!

Despite his limited first team appearances last season, Baird still managed to score against Dundee. He also scored three goals the previous season, having joined from Clyde in the summer of 2004.
