Brechin Game Moved

The cup final is on the 6th of November so the Brechin match was always going to be moved. We just had to see whether it would be a midweek in February or March, when the weather is slightly better, or a midweek in November, when it isn't.

Over the next few weeks Saints fans will have to make two relatively long journeys in midweek. Next week sees a full SFL card for some bizarre reason, and Saints are away to Stranraer, whilst ten days after the final we're on the road to Brechin. The chances of a big travelling support at either game must be slim.

Meanwhile, Saints under 19 team will face a long journey themselves when they take on Dalbeattie Star away from home in the first round of the youth cup on November 13. The team made the final last season, and this tie shouldn't prove any difficulties as they bid to go one better and win the trophy this year.
