Walker was availible on a free transfer having been released by English second division side Hartlepool United. He had started the season off at Dunfermline, played for Saints as a trialist against Brechin before signing for Alloa. During the transfer window he moved to Hartlepool.
Walker left Love Street in the summer of 2002 for SPL side Dunfermline, but was surplus to requirements just over 12 months later. He'd arrived at Saints in the summer of 1999 from East Stirlingshire. Faancy that, someone has played for East Stirlingshire whose actually half decent.
Despite being a defender, Scott scored a far number of goals during his three seasons at Love Street, including a cracker at Cappielow in a 4-1 hammering of Morton.
Walker will come up against some of his former team mates next season, including Ludovic Roy, Barry McLaughlin and Iain Nicolson. Brechin have also completed the signing of Championship Manager great Kevin Byers from Forfar. Mirren Mad wishes Scott the best of luck for next season.
