The big defender was missing from the Saints team on Saturday, not even making the bench, and there were rumours that it was more than a simple case of him being dropped. MacPherson said after the game that it had been an easy decision dropping Broadfoot, whilst David McKinney said on Scotsport First that there had been a bust up and Broadfoot wouldn't play again until he said sorry.
It now seems that Kirk has said sorry, or done whatever it was he needed to do, as MacPherson told The Official St. Mirren Website yesterday that it had been an internal matter and was now resolved.
This is excellent news for Saints, hopefully his week's rest has done him some good and he'll improve on his recent form, starting with a good performance this Sunday.
