Broadfoot: It Was Self Defence

Broadfoot claims that whilst watching an amateur football match, the mans son threw a punch him and was abusive towards him. The two men then got into a fight, before the grandad attacked Broadfoot with his walking stick. Broadfoot claims he then tried to grab the stick off the man, who yesterday claimed that Broadfoot had tried to bearhug him.

There was some good news yesterday, as the charges against Broadfoot for assaulting the man's son were dropped. Hopefully the outcome of the case will be that Broadfoot is innocent.
