Calderwood Not Paying For Walker

The reason Calderwood claims is Saints told him they could have Walker for free, then decided we wanted a fee. This could possibly be because between telling Dunfermline they could have him and the approach, Barry McLaughlin was sold.
Or it could be Calderwood talking rubbish. Somewhere else I read a story from the Dunfermline chairman where he said that Walker's agent told them he was free, but when Saints were asked they were told he wasn't.
Hopefully this will be resolved and we can punt Walker to an unsuspecting Dunfermline :)
