The story broke last night on the guestbook on Saints Online but, unlike most rumours that appear on it, this one seems to be true, judging by a story in todays Inverness Courier
In it, there is an article with Caley boss Steve Patterson about two players he is given trials to, one being a goalie and the other one being McGarry. However, it seems that they aren't willing to pay money for him as Patterson said "Like most clubs, St Mirren have their financial difficulties and they are trying to reduce the wage bill. They would be reluctant to let him go but if I can get him on a free it would be a right good signing."
