Dougie is a left sided player who was on loan at Peterhead a few years ago. He made 11 appearances for the Dundee first team last season, partly because they had no players left due to being in administration.
Dougie is the son of Kenny Cameron, who played for Dundee during the 1960s. Last week Dougie played as a trialist for St. Johnstone, scoring against Livingston. However, he wasn't offered a deal as the player he was meant to replaced ended up staying in Perth.
Dougie will be on trial for a week or so before a decision is made. if he does signs, he'll be the third Cameron to be a Saint over the last few years, following in the footsteps of David and Martin. Useless info or what?!?
