FansFC reports that Cameron was watched by a QPR scout when Saints played Ayr at Love Street a few weeks ago. It's fair to say Cameron had a howler; a mix of not being fit and trying to protect himself for his expected move. As a result, it seems QPR have decided not to sign him.
QPR are managed by Ian Holloway, the man who signed Cameron for Bristol Rovers for Alloa Athletic. Saints have talked to him again about staying for next season, and it's looking more likely he will, which is great news for the fans.
Other rumours suggest that Saints will be offering Stirling Albion's attacking midfielder Stevie Nicholas a trial in the future. Nicholas has been watched by the clubs scouts at times, presumably when they were watching his current team mate and future Saint Mark Crilly. He's previously played for Motherwell and could be a good signing.
