Clarke Gets Promoted

Clarke left Love Street in the mid 1980s, just missing out on a Scottish Cup medal. However, he did win the FA Cup with Chelsea nearly ten years later, and then helped Chelsea to win the last ever Cup Winners Cup the following year. It was also Clarke's last ever match, not bad going!
When his old Chelsea boss Ruud Gullit was made the Newcastle manager, Steve joined his coaching team there, before returning to Chelsea a few years later.
Mirren Mad wishes Steve all the best in his new role and hopes he has fun helping Mourinho spend the Chelsea millions.
