Both sets of fans have been unhappy with the SFL's decision to hold the game at Airdrie United's New Broomfield for a variety of reasons, such as lack of facilities and small capacity. It now seems that the chairmen of the two clubs agree and want the game moved to Partick Thistle's Firhill ground.
The Saints chairman said: "It is a terrible decision and we will request that the Bell's Cup Final be played at the logical venue, which is Firhill. The facilities at Shyberry just aren't there."
There isn't thought to be much chance of the venue being moved, but let's hope that it is.
