Clyde Sign Toastie

Burns was with Saints for around 8 months after our relegation from the SPL, being Tom Hendrie's only summer signing from the team that replaced us in the SPL, Livingston. After scoring on his debut he did hardly anything else, partly because he was being played out of position. He left for Partick Thistle during the season, scoring on his debut there and helping them to the first division title. He scored loads in the SPL before moving to Motherwell, where he has gradually fallen out of favour.

If Toastie is played in the correct position then he is a superb player, a bit like John O'Neill. Wouldn't mind him back at Love Street, hopefully he won't do anything of note against us when we play Friends.
