Ticket sales are continuing to go well, with around 13,000 Buddies having bought their briefs and more than 20,000 Hearts fans having got theirs. However, there is a chance that if we don't pass 14,000 soon then the SFL will pass the last few thousand to the Jambos.
We cannot allow this to happen so if you're thinking about going, or know someone who is considering it, then get yur ticket now. Either head to the ticket office or visit www.smfctickets.co.uk , buy your ticket and get ready to cheer Saints on.
The best way to do that is to get some cup final merchandise. Provan Sports have made a welcome return to that side of things and we have the biggest range of goodies since... well, Provan Sports were rather foolishly told to do one a few years ago. There's a wide range of items and some good deals to be had so pay a visit to www.pslteamsports.com to have a look.
Yesterday the referee for the final was announced and its Craig Thomson. He was the official when Hearts beat Hibs in last season's Scottish Cup Final but, more worryingly, he was the ref three years ago when he sent two Rangers players off and we still managed to lose. Thanks for that SFA!
Finally, it was interesting this week to notice Paisley Provost Anne Hall pictured with a Saints scarf and manager Danny Lennon waxing lyrical about how she'd enjoyed the semi-final and would be cheering the team on again at Hampden next week. Would this be the same Anne Hall who showed her support of the club in 2005 by voting against the stadium plans?
