It's no surprise the game has been made all ticket as plenty of Saints fans have already expressed their intentions of going down. When we went there in 2005 the game had to be delayed by half an hour because of the size of the support, so this move should help ease things.
Tickets cost a rather expensive £15 for adults - the same as it was to see our home game against Peterhead and you even got a seat. Season ticket holders get first shot at the tickets, and this is where it gets complicated.
Saints won't get the tickets until later in the week. Season ticket holders can reserve their ticket online at http://www.smfctickets.co.uk/ or by calling the club. They can only reserve one of the 2,711 tickets up for grabs.
Tickets can be collected on Saturday, at which point season tickets can buy an additional ticket. It seems this is because there are enough tickets for all season ticket folk to get one, but not enough for them to get two each. It makes sense, somewhere.
In other Scottish Cup related news, Paul McGowan missed out on being named player of the round today. The forward bagged a hat-trick in our replay against Peterhead but finished bottom of the poll on Facebook - althouh I couldn't get it to register my vote!
