Cup game moved for Sky

There has been some debate about whether the replay would be on Sky and it looked as if it wouldn't be when the game was arranged for Tuesday. The decision to move it to the Thursday will earn Saints over £80,000 from the TV broadcaster. It's money that is handy, but we could have done with Hearts switching the following SPL game to the Sunday.

The Tynecastle club have claimed their priority has to be their own fans and sponsores, which is understandable. However, our fans and sponsors don't seem to have been taken into consideration by Sky, or by the SPL last season when they moved our match against Rangers around numerous times. Motherwell are at home next weekend, so Hamilton will probably be more willing to switch.

Meanwhile, another midweek game has been moved. Saints' home match against Aberdeen in March has been switched from Wednesday, March 4 to Tuesday, March 3.
