Yes folks, the time we've been praying for since the summer has almost arrived - and I'm not talking about Christmas. After returning to full training a few weeks ago, the lack of reserve games may mean Dargo has to get his match fitness in the first team - starting with Saturday's game against former club Kilmarnock. He's in the squad, but whether or not he makes the final 16 is a different matter entirely.
Saints boss Gus MacPherson will make a decision before Saturday, with the thought of his star striker being injured again as a result of his lack of fitness no doubt at the front of his mind. However, if Dargo were to feature, it would give the Saints support a much needed boost.
Here's hoping, and here's hoping the unwritten rule about players scoring against their former clubs comes true as well!
