Dorman going nowhere

Sheffield United, Plymouth and Bolton are just some of the clubs that have been linked with the former New England Revolution man in recent months, and many Saints fans were worried he would leave this month.

However, in today's Daily Record Dorman says: "I'm happy at St Mirren. I like the lads a lot and obviously the management and staff too. We are moving to the new stadium and we are going in the right direction.

"I've not really heard anything so as far as I am concerned I am happy here."

This is good news. We are a completely different side when Dorman is fit and on form and it's no coincidence we did so well in December when he was at the top of his game.

Now we just need the option in his contract to be taken up to ensure he stays until the end of next season.
