Douglas and Dargo for Saints?

Douglas is apparently wanted by Gretna as well, but it seems Saints boss Gus MacPherson is interested in the former Celtic and Dundee shot stopper. While it would be a high profile signing, I'm a bit worried if this is going to be the goalkeeping competition for Chris Smith. I don't rate Douglas much and this could be an expensive equivalent of Kris Robertson or Derek Scrimgour!

The Dargo stuff may actually be true this time, with a Falkirk fan claiming he has heard from Saints commercial director Campbell Kennedy that the former Inverness Caley Thistle man has signed and will be announced tomorrow. A few folk on Black & White Army have also heard this, while there is apparently a story in today's Sunday Post saying he's heading for Love Street. Several other clubs were after him, including Motherwell - who it looked like he was signing for during the week.
