Dunbar was one of the few names people were surprised to see released, along with Graham Guy and David Lowing. A right sided midfielder who can play up front if needed, he looked good in some games and would have no problem settling into a third division side.
Dunbar would be a superb replacement for Stirling's Robert Dunn, who Saints signed a month ago. Saints have also signed Mark Crilly from Stirling, whilst Stirling got their own back by signing Scott McLean earlier this week.
