I really can't understand this when you consider that O'Neill has scored eight goals this season, whilst Gillies has scored two and failed to net a single goal from open play in 2004. Surely it can't be anything to do with the fact that Gillies has been with us for ages can it?
Incase you can't tell, I was in favour of O'Neill starting as he at least looks (slightly) interested and I can remember him doing something recently. Gillies is usually a ghost when he comes on.
Mirren Mad's users were asked: Who Should Start In Midfield?
The results were:
Ricky Gillies 71.4%
John O'Neill 28.6%
