Fitzy For Hampden?

Tony had two spells as a player at Love Street, and two as a manager. During his second spell as a player he won the Scottish Cup, and during his second spell as a manager he almost got us relegated when the club was struggling to exist, although he did make a memorable rant on television telling where potential investor Reg Brealey could shove his money. Brealey duly took that advice, and we survived. Tony was sacked/resigned/left by mutual consent in December 1998 after a 5-1 hammering by Airdrie. It wasn't soon enough.

After that he had a spell as director of football at Clydebank, before going on to become a part of the Livingston youth set up. When a new regime took over at Almondvale/The City Stadium/The Courier Bowl/Celtic Feeder Club Dome a few months ago, they decided they didn't want him.

Fitzpatrick isn't the only former Saint being linked with the job, as Billy Stark could also get the post. Stark has been out of football after being sacked by St. Johnstone a few months ago.
