The story is wrong before it even mentions Flannery, however, as it says 10 players will be released and only Jamie McGowan will be given a new contract. This is incorrect from the PDE story, as it says Hugh Murray will also be given a new deal.
Given this major error in the story, it is perhaps wise to take the part about FLannery, who is out of contract and helped DUmbarton clinch promotion yesterday, having signed with a large pinch of salt.
