Dorman left the club last week after his agent informed Saints boss Danny Lennon he had at least one concrete offer from a club down south. There has been speculation that Portsmouth want him, but it seems Crystal Palace - now managed by former Scotland boss George Burley - are also interested. Both clubs are in a terrible financial state and a Bosman signing like Dorman would be ideal. The midfielder is also wanted by Nottingham Forest, managed by former Saint Billy Davis.
Another former Saints player, Mixu Paatelainen, is interested in making Ross his first signing at Kilmarnock. The rightback was fantastic in 2008/09 but was pretty poor last season. There's also been speculation linking him to Motherwell, Hamilton and St. Johnstone recently. It's a bit strange as most folk have assumed for months he was heading to Fir Park.
O'Donnell was one of the first players Lennon let go and he is now on trial at Dundee. They're managed by Gordon Chisholm, who was O'Donnell's boss at Dundee United, so it seems an ideal fit.
