All the following info was carried in today's edition of The Herald, so it may or may not be true. If you do have a copy of the paper today, check out page 8 of the normal section for an ancient picture of Jim White!
Anyway, Burton O'Brien and David McNamee have returned to Scotland to sign for Livingston. It was reported yesterday that the deal wouldn't go through before the deadline, but it now seems it has. O'Brien has also won a call up the the Scotland under 21's squad. Unlucky Bo Bo, maybe it wasn't worth leaving Blackburn for that after all? I'm not sure if either of the two had a sell on fee, but I doubt it.
Gary Bowman has signed for first division rivals Arbroath. Bowman made his debut against Ayr United last Saturday, just hours after completing the deal. Saints play Arbroath a week on Saturday in what will be the first league game since the Caley disaster. It would be extremely ironic of Bowman played a part in Tom Hendrie's downfall.
Ronnie McQuilter has signed for league new boys Gretna. He joins up with former Saints captain Tommy Turner, providing the documentation went through before Saturday's deadline.
Campbell Money has "signed" for Ayr United. Money is Ayr's youth coach but with no new players allowed to be signed until Christmas time, Ayr thought it best to register Money as a back up goalie. He probably won't play, but it prevents Ayr having a crisis similar to the one we had last season.
