The teenager, who was let go by Saints in the summer, was handed the ban following trouble in a Scottish Cup clash with Buckie last month. Frances was shown a red card for kicking an opposition player - an offensive for which he's already served a two game ban. He was then handed an additional 12 games for a number of other offences - putting his hands on the referee, swearing and dissent among them. Some going!
Perhaps during his time at Saints Frances was told to copy a club legend. Almost exactly 25 years ago, Billy Abercromby was handed a 12 game ban after being sent off a world record three times against Motherwell. Still, it all ended well - at the end of the season Aber captained us to Scottish Cup glory.
