Franco Stays A Saint

Franco joined up with Saints at the start of last seasn when he signed a similar loan deal and started well enough before fading and being dropped from the team. He did return towards the end of the season and seemed to build up a good relationship with the fans. Part of the explanation for his dip in form could be that he had effectively played a season and a half with no real break - before joining us he had been playing for Helsingborgs. He also had some personal issues back in Argentina.

The summer break, combined with him making a wee trip home, will have done him the world of good and hopefully he can return to his exciting ways on the left side of the park. Welcome back Franco!
