A team of Saints staff worked through the day to get the ground ready, clearing snow from the pitch and also the stands. On that front, they have done a great job and the stadium looks in a good shape.
The issue now is whether it is safe for fans to get to the game - and the problem of away fans travelling from Perth is not the only issue. There's still snow and ice in the car parks and also on the pavements and roads around Greenhill Road.
Saints' officials are due to meet with the police tomorrow to decide if the game can go ahead as scheduled. Two other SPL games bit the dust for safety reasons today, but you'd have thought if our game was under threat it would already have been postponed.
Last year our home game against Aberdeen had to be cancelled due to snow. However, that fell on the morning of the game. The club have known all week what the state of play was and hopefully they have made preparations to ensure the car parks can be cleared.
