The 21-year-old left Ibrox over the summer in the middle of Rangers' financial meltdown. He had previously enjoyed loan spells at Forfar and Airdrie and has been capped for Scotland's under-21 squad.
Adam, whose brother Charlie played for Saints back in 2005/06, joined up with the Saints squad for pre-season training following the departure of just about every Buddies' keeper apart from Craig Samson. He impressed in Tuesday's friendly against Dumbarton but due to the ongoing financial uncertainty at the club it took some time to hammer out a deal.
It seems that has now been done with the player and his brother both revealing on Twitter that he has signed a two year contract. It's unlikely there will be any more signings this summer unless a large sum of cash appears from somewhere.
