The Saints skipper has scored twice since moving to Paisley from Hamilton Accies at the start of last year - a fine goal against St Johnstone in the League Cup and an even better effort against Motherwell in the SPL just before Christmas. Ironically he should have been sent off earlier in that game but that hasn't bothered the judges for the PFA Scotland Goal of the Season award as it's made their shortlist of 10.
One of the other goals in the running came against us - Danny Racchi's late winner for Kilmarnock at the start of the year - while former Buddie Michael Higdon has also been shortlisted.
