There have been rumours linking Grady with a move to Saints for the best part of a month now, with many people claiming that he would move after he had received a pay off from Dundee United. His departure from Tannadice looked less likely when United were told that Jason Scotland's work permit wouldn't be renewed, and even more unlikely when he played in a friendly for them. However, they must have another transfer target in mind and have finally released him.
Saints are rumoured to be just one of a number of clubs chasing him, others including second division sides Partick Thistle and Gretna. There is also rumoured interest from a few SPL clubs. It will be interesting to see if he chooses Saints or somewhere else, but if he doesn't have a club by the end of the week I'll be surprised.
If Grady does sign for Saints he would make his debut against Dundee!
