Grady To Sign Soon?

The Grady rumour has been on the web for a while now but has picked up a bit of pace over the past few days. Saints boss Gus MacPherson told the Paisley Daily Express a few weeks ago that he'd love to sign Grady for us, yet last week told the Evening Times he had no idea where the rumours of us making an enquiry for him had come from!

The date of his arrival varies from him signing on Monday to signing before the transfer window closes at the end of August. There has also been interest from Grady's former club Dundee and second division Gretna. Whatever happens, it seems unlikely that he will move before receiving a payoff from United.

Would Grady be a good signing? I'm not sure. He'll start with the boo boys on his back after his disgraceful assault on Norrie McWhirter ten years ago, and there's also the fact that he hasn't done very well (with the exception of one season) for the past few years.
