Gus Gives Up On Sutton

The contract has been on the table to the Englishman for some time now, and there is no sign of it being signed any time soon. While MacPherson hasn't publicly stated that Sutton is off, he has admitted that the longer things go on, the more likely it looks like he'll be leaving.

Strike partner Billy Mehmet has also not signed his new deal, although not as many people seem concerned about that!

Meanwhile, there are rumours suggesting that Saints could be on the verge of signing Inverness Caley Thistle's Craig Dargo. More than likely wishful thinking, as the striker is also being linked with a move to Dundee United.
