Gus Is Manager Of The Month!

September saw us beat Partick Thistle and Raith Rovers, and draw with Clyde and Airdrie United. It also saw Saints move to the top of the first division for a few weeks, a point clear of both Falkirk and Clyde.

When managers pick up such awards, their team usually suffers a drop in form. Sure enough we suffered our first league defeat of the season last weekend! The last Saints boss to get a manager of the month award was Tom Hendrie back in April 2001 when we were in the SPL.

Well done Gus, hopefully it's the first of many such awards, though fingers crossed next time the hoodoo doesn't ruin our form!
