Gus Seeks Dispensation

As Mirren Mad reported earlier in the week, Craig Hinchcliffe won't play again this season and it now looks as if youth goalkeeper Danny McColgan has picked up an injury and won't be on the bench for Saturday's game against Hamilton Academical.

This could leave Saints without a back up goalkeeper and MacPherson is to approach the SFA to see if he can bring in a keeper outwith the transfer window. Even if he is allowed to do so, this may not solve Saints problems as there is a shortage of availible goalkeepers and anyone brought in would probably have no first team experience.

There had been rumours about Smith's fitness as well but it seems that he is OK and will play on Saturday, if the game is on.
