The player posted on the forum of The Official St. Mirren Website last night explaining that, due to work commitments, he could not make the start of pre-season training on Monday. He was able to make it up for the second week of pre-season but someone at the club decided against that and he now won't be coming up at all.
This is a shame as the Halstead Town midfielder scored 38 goals last season and we desperately need a goalscoring midfielder. It would be interesting to hear from the club exactly what the problem is with him starting his trial spell a week late.
