Innes On The Move

Innes only arrived at United last season from Kilmarnock, so the fact they are letting him go without a fee is a bit surprising. Former Partick Thistle players Scott Patterson and Andy McLaren are also on their way out of Tannadice.

Innes was on loan to Saints from Kilmarnock shortly after Tom Hendrie was appointed as manager. He impressed and when he returned to Rugby Park went straight into the team. After being sent on loan again the next year he established himself in the starting lineup before moving to Dundee United.

Saints could do with another defender, and manager Gus MacPherson has played alongside Innes at Kilmarnock, so maybe he'll end up at Love Street again.
