The big centre half is a familiar face to Saints fans, having spent a few months on loan back in 1999. He's been around a fair bit since then and was part of the Gretna side that raced through the leagues and played in the Scottish Cup final in 2006. Rather worryingly, his last two clubs have both had major financial problems!
The 33-year-old's arrival solves part of the defensive problems, although we could still do with another centre half. He provides much needed competition to John Potter and Lee Mair and could face East Stirlingshire on Saturday.
