Jenkins, who played for Everton and Dundee United during his playing days, won't officially start his post until the start of July, but when he does he'll replace the departed Andy Millen. He worked well with Lennon at Central Park, so hopefully the pair can repeat their magic at Greenhill Road.
There's an excellent interview with Jenkins on the official site where he makes lots of positive noises and says we should be aiming for fourth or fifth. Let's just hope he isn't moaning about high expectations from supporters in a few months time!
