Chris left Love Street in the summer of 2003 along with several other players, and ended up with some other former Saints at Ayr United. He left for Albion Rovers during the transfer window in January 2004, but was released by them in the summer. He has been clubless since then, so it's good to see him find a club once again.

Chris looked a half decent left wing back in season 1998/99, but his career was wrecked after a disgraceful challenge a few games into the title season. Inverness Caley's Ross Tokely was the culprit, and he has never been forgiven by Saints fans. It took Chris over a year to get fit after suffering ligament damage, and he was never the same player again.
