Broadfoot was not originally named in the squad for the friendly, but was drafted in due to various call offs. Adam, who spent last year on loan at Love Street from Rangers, was in the original squad.
Both went close to scoring, but Kirk played a vital part in the only goal of the game when the referee judged he had made a passback, even though replays later showed the ball came off of his knee, not his foot. By then it was too late, and Scotland lost 1-0.
The pair are likely to be in action again on Friday when they face Turkey at Rugby Park in a friendly. This is likely to be Kirk's last game at this level, as he turns 22 in August.
