Lappin Gets Scotland Call

Simon picked up a few Scotland under 21 caps last season, and also scored for the under 20 team against Portugal. He hasn't been doing as well for Saints this season, so it is probably on the basis of past performances he is included.

The Spain game is the final friendly before the world cup qualifiers, and is an away game on Thursday. The match against Slovenia is a qualifier and will be played a week on Tuesday at McDiarmid Park.
