Lappin Stays As Russell Leaves

Both players were offered contracts at the end of last week and it was expected both would stay. Russell has even hinted that he would be signing up and had no other offers on the table, so it is surprising that he has rejected the contract he was offered. The club have no finances to improve it so it looks as if he will be leaving.

Lappin has had a poor season after doing well last season, but has started to improve over the last few weeks. He is still called up to the Scotland under 21 side and hopefully he can recapture his form next season.
