Lennon told BBC Scotland yesterday he had offered a contract to someone who could play in midfield or up front and the smart money was on it being Gow - available after being released by Plymouth. Lennon has now told the same media outlet that is indeed who was offered the contract, and if Gow signs it'll be his last piece of business this summer.
There are thought to be other clubs interested in the 27-year-old and if anyone down south wants him then we haven't a hope. If he could get his head in gear and produce more often than not then Gow would be a decent acquisition for us. However, if he goes elsewhere it won't be the end of the world.
Gow recently had an unsuccessful trial spell in Russia and has also been with Hibs, Clydebank, Airdrie, Norwich and Blackpool during his career.
